Artist Arsen Satorian escapes a toxic relationship in Madrid by going off the grid in India. He recuperates in Kolkata, but Spain still feels like home. He secretly returns, but this time to Barcelona. Arsen embraces Catalan culture and becomes a regular at a Café Zurich. He befriends a group of eccentric expats, falls for a mysterious woman, and gets inspired to create an epic series of paintings that traces the history of modern art. All is momentarily alive and well until a seductive offer to steal a Picasso proves irresistible just as Arsen’s past catches up with him at the wrong time.
